The Children’s Ministry of the First Pentecostal Church of Orlando offers a variety of ministries for children.

Every Sunday morning, we have age appropriate classes for children. Our classes focus on teaching children Bible principles, as well as the importance of praise and worship. The classes are interactive, and the children participate through role playing, games, object lessons, singing, and drama. They are taught and participate in praise and worship. It is exciting to see the presence of the Lord move on children as they begin to worship the Lord. Inspirational songs are used to set the atmosphere for the Lord to minister to the children. It is not uncommon to witness the power of God at the end of this powerful session, as children come to an altar and ask God into their lives.

Other activities for children to get involved in include children’s choir and orchestra, puppet team, worship team, Bible quizzing, and annual youth camps. Our children’s choir, puppet team, and worship team performs several times a year during our Sunday Morning Worship service and during special events.

During the year, we have recreational activities such as our Fall Party which includes Trunk-or-Treat, and picnics.

The Children’s Ministry is under the leadership of Sheron Watt, Kathy Jones and Heidi Bromund. It is their desire to see revival among the children.
